SUP Norway Expedition 2025

So  you lucky lot, here are the details for the 2025 Element67 SUP Norway  Sognefjord expedition . You are potentially about to book on our highly anticipated expedition with the awesome guys at SUP Norway. 

It's worth watching the videos on YouTube and reading over everything on  SUP Norway's web pages, for information we are doing the Sognefjord  expedition.

Our group will be doing the first trip of the season which is starting  on Wednesday 14th May at 6.00pm in Gudvangen and we finish at around  1.00ppm on Monday 19th May again in Gudvangen.  

For this reason I will be traveling out on Tuesday the 13th of May from  Aberdeen direct to Bergen with Wideroe Airlines.

The flight departure time is 08:35 and it lands in Bergen at 10:55 on Tuesday 13th May. 

I am catching the flight the day before to ensure that I am in Bergen to  greet everyone on Wednesday 14th, you can, if you wish, catch an early flight to Bergen on Wednesday 14th and you should still make it to  Gudvangen which is 2.5 hours outside of Bergen.  

The intention is we all meet at the train station in Bergen around 2.00pm (TBC) on  Wednesday 14th May and travel together to Gudvangen for our first night on the shore of the Fjord.  

Our last day ends around 1.00pm and it is tight to get back for the  final flight out of Bergen on the 19th May, so again I am personally  staying over the extra night in Bergen to be sure of catching my flight,  however it is a doable option to fly out on the 20th of May from  Bergen.

I am flying back with Wideroe Airlines direct to Aberdeen and the flight  time is 17:55 on Tuesday, landing in Aberdeen at 18:20 due to the  time difference.  

This way I get to explore Bergen on the final day.  I am staying at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Bergen, on the arrival day  of Tuesday 13th May and again on the departure date of Monday 19th May.  

This is a real trip of a lifetime, a true adventure over 6 days in the  UNESCO protected Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord. 

We will have mountains,  waterfalls, hopefully porpoise, sea eagles, seals, fjord side  restaurants & breathtakingly beautiful campsites. 

There will be 12 of you plus the SUP Norway guide and myself as the  assistant guide.
